THE ATTENDEE EXPERIENCE IS KEY FOR UNITED RENTALS

United Rentals is the largest equipment rental company in North America.  The company headquarters are in Stamford, CT.

el-j has been a preferred United Rentals  (URI) vendor partner since 2015.  During the past five years we have worked with the URI team to develop new, innovative, and creative ways to enhance both their employee and customer event experiences.

For employees:  We’ve strengthened message alignment and increased production value at the Annual Managers Meeting. The Managers’ Recognition Awards event has been reinvented as a live sports-television program and has been taken outside the ballroom to venues including a sports bar and Vikings Stadium.  These highly rated changes have helped make the Managers Meeting even more memorable and meaningful.

For customers:  We’ve created an immersive, interactive customer experience by taking the United Rentals marketing messages on the road with the Building Futures Tour. This multi-city, “roadshow-style” event included an immersive 360 mobile projection theatre, interactive experiences and activations, and memorable local market experiences for customers.  We also helped the URI team to reimagine a large, annual customer event and rebranded it as The Total Control® & Innovation Conference.  In addition to providing production support, the el-j team was also in charge of audience acquisition.  The 2019 event drew 42% more attendees than the previous year and was the highest rated in conference history.

Now that the dust has settled and we’ve caught our breath post-TCIC, I wanted to send a quick note of thanks and congratulations to the el j team.  As you know, we delivered an event that exceeded expectations on many levels. It was our biggest conference ever – in 20 years – and that in itself was significant. Thanks again for your partnership, and your friendship. Lots of people can do good work. You guys are good people, too, and that makes the work so much more enjoyable. Keep doing what you do, because you’re the best.
